A lot of sports talk types who don't understand these things like to make jokes about wagering on low profile events, but that's *exactly* what professionals want to do.  Most really sharp handicappers avoid high profile things like the Superbowl like the plague.  &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;The Olympic snowboard halfpipe competition in the last Olympics was basically free money...long story short, anytime you have a sport on which bookmakers can't set an accurate line, and which the general public doesn't know anything about that's like winning the lottery to a sports bettor who knows what he's doing.  Granted, most of them don't but that's why they're called "squares".
