That's basically the way justice works at the Federal level--they'd rather make a deal and get a conviction than go to the trouble and expense of a trial. I read somewhere that an insane percentage of Federal indictments end up in a plea deal--like 85 to 90% or higher. I wouldn't read this as the Feds not having the goods on Ron Mexico--its just the way they roll...<BR/><BR/>But as the previous commenter noted that it really doesn't matter what Vick does or doesn't admit to. If US District Judge Henry E. Hudson decides that he doesn't believe Vick's plea, he CAN opt to either go tough on Vick, or even throw the plea out, and insist Vick go to court & face all charges.<BR/><BR/>Vick's walking a tightrope, trying to minimize both jailtime, and his impending NFL suspension.<BR/>And I dunno about 'carrying the most weight'... whichever way it goes - Vick lied to the Commish.
