Not taking notice to the life that is going on around them. They begin to take the people in their lives for granted thinking that they will always be there, even when they consider sports so much more important. Sports is just another form on entertainment that is also going on. I feel like there is never a time when some sports event is not going on. The players get paid so much money, and for what?? To be idolized, to hit a ball, or catch a ball? People wonder why Americans are so fat, well instead of playing the sport for fun themselves, they sit on the couch and eat while watching the sport. Or go to the sports bar and drink beers and eat all night while again watching the sport instead of being active. I guess one could say that the movie actors get paid too much for the type of entertainment they do, but I guess since I love that form of entertainment I view it differently, because I am an actress...and if you think about it mostly anyone can do it.<BR/><BR/>I've been in a relationship where the guys life revolved around sports. He was obsessed. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about it. When he got home that is the first thing that was on tv, in fact when he would turn off the tv it had to be on a sports channel. When he went online he always checked espn and ever other sprots thing you could think of. During football season, it was insane. Football everywhere. <BR/><BR/>Anyways, my point is, guys are way to into sports. I'm not saying there aren't girls who love the sports, but they more than likely know when to give it a rest. If a guy isn't watching sports then he is talking about sports. If he is talking about it then he is dreaming of playing of them. It's a vicious cycle. I'm not trying to be the gf that is "i need attention 24/7" because I'm def not that kinda gf. I need my time alone just as m much as the next person, but when I don't have an interest in sports and then all i hear and watch are sports, it can drive a person up a wall. <BR/><BR/>so yeah sports is just another avenue of entertainment that gets too much credit.
